NISA-KRA is a set of two extrusions designed for recess illumination purposes. It consists of TENIKRA mounting strip and ONISA extrusion recessed in it. The complete set enables the parallel direction of light to the wall, facing up. TENIKRA strip is step-shaped, which makes possible drywall edge mounting. The lower edge of TENIKRA strip is an extension of the recess, and once sealed, forms a thin aesthetic edge.
ONISA extrusion holds a single 10.8 mm (0.42") max. wide LED. TENIKRA strip enables the extension of the drywall recess and serves as a horizontal fixing element for ONISA extrusion. TENIKRA mounting strip is drywall mounted using mounting screws. NOTE! Prior to mounting, the strip must be pre-drilled to avoid unwanted deflection. The manual provides all details of mounting methods and direction of screw mounting. Once mounted, seal the lower edge of the strip. Rigid mounting of ONISA extrusion can performed with a silicone cord (included in the set). Turn off LED lights during peak day light hours in outdoor applications to avoid excessive heat buildup which will result in diminished LED life.

Distilling this design constraint down to its basic components produces: Cones of Light and Covers. Expanding on these two characteristics gives us four elements of control when designing a fixture: Cover type, LED spacing, LED output, and Cover to LED spacing.
